206 and 210: Class test on Chapter 2.4 and 3
Hi classes, please be reminded that the class test will be held on Thursday (03/04/2008). Topics are Chapter 2.4 and the entire Chapter 3 (Simple algebraic fractions). Calculators are allowed. Please revise and be well prepared for the paper. You should be able to do well if you prepare sufficiently.
106: Group presentations for Chapter 13 Transmission of Heat
Hi class, please start working on the group presentation that is due on Thur (03/03/2008). Each group will be given 10 min to present their ideas. As there are 2 groups working on the same sub topic, you can further spread out the workload.
S/no 1 -10: Conduction
11-20: Convection
21-29: Conduction
30-38: Convection
Do use the textbook as a reference. And feel free to use the internet to get more information. Not to worry, i do not need to see beautiful animation. More importantly is the content of the presentation. At the end of the lesson, i will correct all the mistakes/fill in the necessary gaps in your presentations. And then we will move on from there. Do not worry if you think you have not prepared sufficiently. More important is that i want to see the team work in the class and also give you an opporunity to be in the shoes of a teacher.
All the best! Feel free to approach me if you have any queries regarding the topic.
